I went Vegan January 2016 after trying VeganJanuary https://veganuary.com/ before this i'd been vegetarian for some time.
I thought it would be much harder than it was, but with a bit of planning and knowing good and tasty substitutes it was fairly easy and I haven't looked
back...I feel fitter, stronger and have more energy. Even if we just replace one meal a week with a plant based alternative, this really helps your health, the environment and of course animals - or challenge yourself to go vegan for January next year!
